Sacramental Dates for 2026


Infant Baptism is celebrated by arrangement at St Vincent's Parish Office, on the First Saturday of the month. At least one parent must be Catholic and supported by Catholic godparents They are greeted and prepared by the Parish

School Age children, surrounded by their Catholic family, may also be initiated into the faith with baptism, in a similar way as infant baptism, except the child will be more involved in the preparation. They continue their sacramental journey Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation with the Parish community.

Adult Baptism (RCIA) This Journey of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults starts with an inquiry period initiated by an inquiry to the Parish House. We meet with a team that is totally non binding, and may lead to reception the following Easter. All non-baptised adults are called to inquire.

Confirmation 2026 will be celebrated by Bishop Daniel Meagher on 23 May @5pm

Meeting 1 The Challenge (Is this what you want?) March 10 or 12 @ 6.30pm

Acceptance of the Challenge Sunday March 22 @ 10am or 6pm Mass.

Candidate will receive a copy of the Apostles Creed and the base beliefs of Christianity

2 April Involvement in The Last Supper Washing the Feet,

3 April Good Friday (The Stations of the Cross)

4 April Holy Saturday (Reception of RCIA candidate and Celebration of New Life)

Meeting 2 Post Challenge and Meeting the Holy Spirit

Meeting 3 Searching for Heros

Meeting 4 Sign and Symbol, Anoint and Anointed

First Reconciliation will be celebrated 26 August: is for children aged 7, or above. Reconciliation is to be celebrated prior to First Communion. Preparation program is in Term 3 over four weeks. Parent Meeting 21 July at 6.30

First Communion will be celebrated Sunday 15 Nov and 22 Nov at any of the Masses.

The children will have celebrated Reconciliation and be in 3rd class and above. Tuesday 13 October at 6.30 is the Parent meeting for First Communion in the Parish Office Meeting Room.
