EASTER VIGIL 2009
We rejoiced at Easter with the Baptism of 4 adults and the reception of two others into our Church. These six had been meeting together for many months as part of the Catechumenate (RCIA).
We congratulate Tolini, Tania, Adam, Joseph, Anna May and Kimberley.
Some photos of the special event are available here!
Project Compassion 2009!
In a world of inequality we are called to hunger and thirst for what is right.
In this week's Project Compassion story we meet Maria Gaby from Bolivia.
She is participating in a Caritas Australia supported project addressing food insecurity and malnutrition, the loss of local identity from migration and threats to children's rights. Parents and elders join in the activities and games too.
Your donation to Project Compassion enables Caritas Australia's to work in partnership with some of the world's most vulnerable communities before, during and after the
headlines.
Please bring your Project Compassion boxes or envelopes when you come to the liturgy on Holy Thursday!

Ever wondered how the Liturgical Banners change colour and message, the Christmas Tree grows or the Shepherds arrive to adore at the manger?
This Ministry has been carried out happily by two people for many years, they are now looking for backup.
Qualifications: Enthusiasm, a little time, energy and a small amount of creativity. Training on the job!!!!
To quote the late Sister Bernadette DC, "An indulgence guaranteed for every pin used to attach the message".
Don't be shy, it can be fun and thought provoking!
