Youth Week (Ashfield Council)

Youth Week is coming up in Ashfield and the Inner West.
Highlights include a Band Comp, Skate Festival, Art Exhibition and performances by the Ashfield Youth Theatre.

Dates for the Celebration of the Sacraments 2009

3Confirmation with Bishop Terry Brady will be celebrated on Pentecost Sunday, 31st May.
       Note: Registration forms for Confirmation available at the back of the Church.
2Celegration of First Reconcilation: 31st August & 1st September
1First Communion at Sunday Masses: 15th & 22nd November.

 

Baptisms & Weddings during the Lenten season

Baptism recalls & makes present the death and resurrection of Jesus... so the celebration of Baptism should reflect the joy of the resurrection. It is therefore appreciate to defer the celebration of Baptism until the Easter season.

At St. Vincent's, we do not celebrate Baptisms (nor Weddings) during the Lenten season.

A combined Mass for our local schools' staff

local schoolOur church held a combined local school staff Mass before the start of the School year on 27th January this year. The schools are St Vincent's Primary School, De La Salle College and Bethlehem College. This was taken just afte the Mass.
